Glenburn School is a K-8 school located in the heart of Maine.  Our staff of experienced, well-trained and highly qualified professionals understand that education is not just a job – it’s an opportunity to mold and shape the future leaders of our society.  With support and assistance from parents and our community, we give our students the best chance to be successful – not just in school, but also in life.

We are committed at Glenburn Elementary School to a student-centered learning environment. This environment will foster a sense of challenge, a love for learning, a thirst for knowledge, and a desire to better oneself both academically and personally.

Our mission is to set and maintain standards of excellence which will enable our youth to read, write, think, compute, comprehend, and reason.

Our purpose is to promote an atmosphere of awareness which will expose students to mathematics, the sciences, the humanities and the arts in a manner which whets the appetite and causes a quest for further understanding.

Our goal is for youth to develop within themselves a sense of community, a sense of responsibility, a sense of pride, a sense of respect for property, and a sense of respect for self and others.
