The Comprehensive Needs Assessment is a new requirement for all districts in the state of Maine. It must be submitted no later than July 1, 2018. This is a 5 year plan. We will not have to go through the process again until 2022. This Schoolwide Plan is a comprehensive reform strategy designed to improve the entire educational program in a Title I school. Title I provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. Its primary goal is to ensure that all students, particularly those who are low-achieving, demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement of the Maine Learning Results. The plan consists of: Data Collection and Analysis, Professional Practice, Personnel Policy and Procedures, Family and Community Engagement, Accountability, Coordination, Evaluation and Reevaluation and Fiscal Requirements.
We would like to share the sections of the plan that have been completed so far. Please look over the information and if you have input that you would like to add, we welcome you to do so! After each section, there is an area where you can add your feedback.

Dear Parents and Guardians:
After many months of development, today our teachers and middle school students logged into our new online Synergy program.
Synergy is an academic program that allows you and your child to have full access to student grades, homework assignments, class projects, class schedule, teacher comments, school information and attendance. At any time you can log on to your personal account and get a complete profile of your child’s progress here at school.
First off, your son or daughter needs to share their login password with you. Once this is done have them navigate through and show you each one of Synergy’s student profile variables.
Walking through the classes today I could see just how much the kids enjoyed seeing their work and effort displayed on StudentVUE. In the future there will be a parent password which will allow you to log on at any time.
If you have any questions, concerns or would like to learn more about our Synergy program, then please do not hesitate to call.
