Good morning Families of Glenburn Middle School Students,
Please note that this year Glenburn's policy on afterschool events and activities has been updated please see the attached policy "JJ" and rubric "JJ-R".
What this means for you: After vacation, Glenburn will begin sending out notices to students who are ineligible or in danger of becoming ineligible. notices are meant to be educational and help students make the changes needed in order to not miss out on any after school opportunities. Students will not be removed from after school activities this year. We will be attempting to work with families to help students make proper changes to their grades, behavior, or attendance. Beginning school year 2026-2027 we will be enforcing this policy fully.
Thank you and have a great Spring season!

Mrs. Thayer’s 2nd grade class had an egg-stra special week filled with Peep adventures! On Monday, students were surprised with their very own Peeps to “hatch” and care for throughout the week.
Each student took on the important role of being a responsible Peep owner. Their Peeps traveled to and from school each day and quickly became part of their daily routines. At home, students read to their Peeps every night and wrote about their adventures in their special Peep journals, practicing their reading and writing skills in a meaningful (and fun!) way.
The responsibility didn’t stop there! Students had to make sure their Peeps were never left alone—many even had to “hire” babysitters when they were busy. Throughout the week, students earned bunny money for showing responsibility, completing their writing, and taking great care of their Peeps.
It was a week full of creativity, laughter, and learning. Mrs. Thayer’s class did an amazing job stepping up, showing responsibility, and having fun along the way. What a memorable experience for everyone involved! 🐥✨
